Today’s track is a strongly inspired by sleep. More accurately the process of going to sleep. For most people there isn’t a specific thing you can do to make yourself go to sleep in an instant. It just comes to you. Often we lay in bed and slowly drift away and, before we know it, we’ve dropped off.

Hopefully this crystal dream will put you on track to having your very own dream or two.

Clouds are something we have plenty of here in Canberra (Australia) despite the bitter cold. Often I find myself sitting in the morning sunshine watching the clouds fly buy in the faster winds. Some days I’m lucky and there’s a slow breeze which lets me relax a bit more. The different shades of blue and gray, the endless variations in shape, and the constant flowing of both seems to have kept mankind captivated for centuries.

This week I wanted to take you on an approximate journey of the clouds from the studio window. If you’ve got any clouds handy then be sure the break them out when listening but even something as simple as watching a candle flame with do the job with this Crystal Dream. Sit comfortably and take a short break from the choas of the outside world.

Today’s Crystal Dream stems from a story idea I had about returning home after a perilous sea voyage. After the difficulty and turbulence of the treacherous journey it is time to head home. The battle scars run deep and may be around for a while but time, sunshine, and home can heal many wounds.

Put the kettle on, pour yourself a fresh cup, and kick back with this more melancholy episode of the podcast.

Forests are such interesting places. They’re so noisy and yet so peaceful. Full of so much action and yet so serene. For me they’re such a collection of contradictions. Trees in particular fascinate me. They’re quite clearly alive and yet we use them as if they were just another item on the shelf. Often not giving a moments thought to how important they are to our planet. I feel very lucky to have them helping us to breathe.

With visions of the trees in mind I’ve put together another relaxing episode for you. Time to give that relaxing chair a work out with the lights dimmed and a fresh cup of your favorite mixture.
