This week I’d like to take you off on a little tangent from some of the other ultra-happy episodes I’ve presented recently. Here I have a musical sketch of “The Forgotten Land”. It’s not any land in particular but maybe you’ll may find hints of Middle Earth or Narnia - both of which inspired me when I was younger. Perhaps it’s a combination of both with others thrown in for good measure. Sometimes it’s not always clear where our dreams come from.
Either way I hope you can find time to sit back and relax with this piece. Perhaps even drift off into a little crystal dream of your own.

It’s been a difficult and turbulent week here at the Crystal Dreams HQ but that’s ok. The bad times help us to appreciate the good times right? Perhaps that’s easier said than done and sometimes we just want to sail off to a far distant land leaving our troubles miles behind us.
Unfortunately it’s not quite as easy as that for some of us so maybe a short “sonic trip” can be the next best thing. Dim the lights, sit back in your favourite chair, and join me for a voyage of the mind as we drift slowly towards that peaceful land we desire most.

Let me take you back. Way way back through the ancient mists of time when the world was very different to what it is today. Things were often much different to how we remember them but we’ve gone so far back that it’s before memory (human) began.
Stop here for a moment and catch your breath. Imagine your breath flowing in and out for a moment or two. Then sit back in your favourite chair and relax. Let your mind wonder to a peacefull place. You deserve a quick break

Today’s relaxing improvisation has the basic theme of the moon. In particular the moon rising up into the sky of an evening. So if you’re listening at night then I definitely recommend you keep the moon handy. Perhaps light a candle or two and (most importantly) just sit back and relax. Let the music take your mind on it’s chosen journey and escape the troubles of “every day life”. Even if it’s only for 15 minutes
